The Inspiration

Robert Zaia has been in the insurance business for over 25 years. During those years he has dealt with countless pizzeria restaurant owners, not only offering them liability insurance, but health coverage as well. Robert had learned that though many of these restaurant owners had medical coverage through their wives, none of these owners had any type of retirement benefit.

With the help of various businessmen, Robert was able to put together a plan that would help each and every pizza restaurant owner obtain a Major Medical Plan, which would include Dental, Optical, Life and Vested Pension Plans at affordable rates. Robert did not want to stop at providing Medical Plans for this type of indursty. He also wanted the restaurant owner to have buying power as well when it came to purchasing goods and supplies for the pizzeria restaurant.

Robert formed the World Wide Pizza Maker's Industry not only to help the pizzeria and restaurant businesses but also to help those that are in need. That is why a portion of all proceeds is to be donated to various charities and foundations. The World Wide Pizza Maker's Industry and its sponsors are growing every day and together they will benefit all those in the pizzeria restaurant industry.

Our Founder

Robert Zaia has had a vision for many years that would bring unity among all in the pizzeria restaurant industry. His vision was finally realized in 2008 when, along with other businessmen, he was able to put together - for the first time - a major medical plan for all those in the industry who were willing to participate. This major medical plan would include Medical, Dental, Optical, Life and Vested Pension Plans. Knowing that this plan is now available to an industry that's never had any type of benefits, the World Wide Pizza Maker's Industry can now give a sense of security back to all its members.
